Background
We were asked to conduct an investigation of an old home in Cuchillo, NM. This house is currently unoccupied and was built in the late 1800's. The house consists of two rooms and hasn't been occupied in many years.

There are a lot of items left in the home like an old antique sewing machine, old clothes, an old TV, an old stove and other items.
The current owner stated that he had no idea if it was haunted so we decided to just leave a digital recorder running in the house while we conducted another investigation at the nearby Cuchillo Bar. This would allow us to determine if there was any evidence that would warrant a full scale investigation.

Investigation
No investigation was conducted. We placed a digital recorder in the house and left it running.


Audio Analysis
Upon analysis of the audio, several sounds were recorded and since the house was empty during this time, we have no explanation as to the cause. There were several loud knocks and other random sounds recorded. The most striking was after a few hours of recording, I sent Andy and Kip back to the house to check on the recorder to make sure it was still running.

You clearly hear them enter, check on the recorder and then state that if anyone was there, to speak into the recorder. They promptly leave the house and then a few seconds later, you can CLEARLY hear footsteps approach the recorder and then "someone" taps on the recorder directly!

All of the audio below was recorded when the house was completely empty.

Conclusion
Based on all of the sounds that were recorded in the supposedly "empty" house, we feel that this location qualifies for a full scale investigation. The investigation will be conducted in the near future.
