Copper Investigation - Albuquerque Northeast Heights

Investigation Summary
Date: 01/16/2010
Location: Juan Tabo & Copper, Albuquerque, NM - Exact location kept private at client's request.
Time: 9pm
Weather: Clear and Cold
Investigators: Steve Kompier, Andy Kompier, Mike Garcia

Background
We were contacted to investigate a private home in Albuquerque's Northeast Heights. The location was in a complex of town homes and the client reported the following:

A tall full body apparition of a man in a hat
Footsteps on the stairs
Shadows moving from room to room
Pictures flying off the walls
Young daughter seeing an old man
Scratching and rustling sounds

The most interesting information was that there were two suicides in nearby units and one being that of an old man.

Investigation
Since the area on the investigation was going to be small, we decided to use handheld miniDV and digital reorders placed in the two bedrooms upstairs since this area seemed to have to most reported activity. We conducted several on camera EVP sessions with a few results. None of the responses were verbal, so they are presented out of interest.

1. We were talking amongst ourselves during a break in the EVP session and the following "Help" was captured.

2. This EVP was heard by Mike and I and it sounds like a growl. Decide for yourself.

There were a few other EVPs captured that were knocks and bangs, but we felt that they were not conclusive enough to present as evidence.

Video Results
We were able to record two light anomalies on video. These were captured in closed rooms with no air moving.

Investigation Conclusion
Based on the EVPs and video anomalies that were captured, we feel that there is paranormal activity occurring. Is the house haunted? Nothing that we witnessed that night would support this. The activity seems to be benign.
